Paleo Banana Chocolate Chip Bars

These banana chocolate chip bars are paleo, gluten free, and refined sugar free! They are great snacks for any time of the day and your kids will gobble them up!

Servings: 12 bars Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 1 hour

Wet Ingredients

  • 4 bananas

  • 2 large eggs free-range

  • 1/2 C almond butter

  • 4 Tbsp unsalted butter melted, organic, pasture-raised

  • 1 tsp vanilla real extract

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 C almond flour blanched, super fine grind

  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1 pinch sea salt

  • 3/4 C chocolate chips bittersweet (ie Ghirardelli 60% cacao)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Melt the butter and remove from heat. Combine the bananas, eggs, almond butter, melted butter, and vanilla in a mixing bowl. Mix well by using a hand-mixer.

  2. Add the almond flour, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder, and sea salt. Mix well by using a hand-mixer. Add the chocolate chips and hand-stir to mix.

  3. Grease a 8x12 pan with butter. Pour batter into the pan and spread evenly. Place it in your preheated oven. Bake for 1 hour. Remove from oven and let cool. Cut it into squares and enjoy!
